There will be three practices at your location’s studio, plus a mandatory stage dress rehearsal at the recital venue. This will require a separate fee per recital show. Option 2 - Dance with each daughter separately in their recital shows (if they are in separate shows). You will pay only one fee, for dancing in one recital show. Dads will take turns dancing with each daughter during the dance. Option 1 - Dance with all daughters in the same show. You are welcome to have more than one daughter in the Daddy/Daughter Dance. Why is there a charge for this? The fee covers the expense of teaching staff, choreography, practices, staging rehearsals, and the overall administrative work required to put this opportunity together. Stage Rehearsal: Stage rehearsal attendance at The Garden Theater the week of the recital is mandatory.Īttire: For the actual performance, we recommend that dads wear a nice button down shirt with dark pants and shoes. ![]() Practice Times: Practice time is limited and dancers and dads will do much better if they can attend all the practices! We ask you attend a minimum of 2 out of the 3 practice rehearsals offered (see dates below). If Dad Is Not Available: If your dancer’s father is not available to participate in the Daddy/Daughter Dance, they are welcome to invite their grandpa, uncle, guardian, or close family friend to be their dance partner. Participate in Spring Recital: The dancer must be already participating in our 2023 Spring Recital.
